Jemima joined Release as a legal adviser after working for a legal aid law firm as a paralegal where she worked on homelessness, asylum support, and community care matters.
Whilst completing her GDL, Jemima volunteered with the Legal Access team with Care 4 Calais, working to ensure asylum seekers had access to legal advice and representation during their asylum claim. She is currently working towards qualifying as a solicitor through the SQE route.
In her work, Jemima is passionate about holding public authorities to account and ensuring access to justice for those who need it most and she is eager to continue this work with Release.
